​The honed Cararra marble finish adds a luxurious centerpiece to any room. The charming design is shown here with the optional Landsdowne arched cast insert with a dedicated cast back, providing the option of adding a dedicated gas fire, electric fire, or a solid fuel grate and ashpan, allowing you to burn wood or coal.

​The optional gas fire is a tapered tray with a coal effect, producing a lovely glow and dancing flames. Suitable for Class 1 (real chimney), it is operated by manual controls that are hidden behind the bottom ashpan cover. As with all gas fires of this type, it is designed more for effect than as a heat source.

​For those who prefer the character of a real fire, the Gallery Brompton 56" Cararra marble mantel and Landsdowne insert can be supplied with a solid fuel kit, but you will need to fit it with a split and slabbed granite or tiled hearth due to the increase in temperature around the fire chamber.
