Gallery Castle Fire Basket

The Castle basket offers a medieval style especially suited to traditional interiors. Crafted in cast iron, you can choose from a matt black model which has brass finials and ashpan drawer knob or a highlighted model with sections of the cast iron polished to reveal a satin silver finish.

With a large, shaped back plate featuring a scroll motif and detailed edging, the Gallery Castle is a popular model for use with the optional solid fuel grate allowing you to enjoy this decorative basket as a real fire. For those who prefer the convenience of being able to quickly turn the fire on/off, there is also a dedicated gas fire option available.

Decorative option (no fire)
Supplied without any grate for use as a decorative ornament only.

Solid Fuel Kit option
Includes a grate allowing you to use the Castle basket to burn wood and coal*.

Gas Fire option
A dedicated coal effect gas fire that provides real flames. Manual control with on/off and flame height adjustment operated from the bottom of the basket behind removable cover. Designed for homes running on natural gas and installation into a Class 1 flue (real chimney). With a maximum gas input of 10.9kW, an air-vent in the room is required.

*Polished cast iron is not recommended for solid fuel as discolouration will occur.
